I have looked for a hull ID number on the stern of the boat where my last boat ID number was located. There is nothing there and I am confused as to where the numbers are located on the Hunter 26. Any help?

has the hull # just below the rub rail on the starboard side about a foot short of the stern

My 1995 H26 - on starboard side at stern - you can call or email Hunter to get specifics on your boat. Here is other info. I got from the Archives: Ed Schenck Huron, OH 06/11/06 at 7:17 Hunter 26 Hull ID's Here is a link to one website that professes to explain the HIN(Related Link). However I have seen all kinds of exceptions, especially on older Hunters. My own H37C is HUN37074M79H . So it is a Hunter 37, number 074 built. It was built in March(H) of 1979. I think the 'M' is just a way of indicating date. But go to the Owner's directory and do the search on your year and model. Compare the HIN's there with your own. Best Regards, Mike T.
