Hull ID for mast style ID?

Hi,

I was trying to install a Hood 707 roller furler on my Catalina 25 and the extrusion I cut was almost exactly 2 feet short. I’m wondering if my boat is the tall rig, not the standard. Is there a way if you can tell from the hull ID? It’s a 1983 if that helps.

I see the C25 CB has an "I" measurement just about exactly 2ft taller than the other C25 models, is yours a centerboard model?

Nope, fin keel. Sorry, should have specified that.

One option is to call the factory and see if customer service has an answer. Damage is done, however, looks like you'll need to order a new foil. Sorry. If you decide to replace your rigging, remember this experience.
