hull harmonics

I own a 1983 Newport 33 with a 24 HP Universal. When under power and operating at 1900 to 2300 rpm the engine vibration is minimized but there is a significant harmonic vibration that propagates through the hull.

I just had the engine mounts replaced and the problem hasn't gone away.

Any thoughts?

I'm no expert but, check the alignnment of your tranmisssion and shaft.

Besides the mounts, this is the major touchpoint on the hull for enigine vibrations and misalignment can cause problems like you are describing. Adjusting the alignment solved a similar issue on my friends Catalina 28.
