Has anyone got a source for hull halfmodels for the Cherubini Hunters? I'd be interested in the H27 if they were not terribly expensive, maybe others would be too...Ron

Have never seen one.

Are you asking because you saw one somewhere? I agree, there would be lots of interest.

Try this site

I think the Hunter 27 (old) listed at the site below might correspond to the Cherubini Hunters: http://www.tridentstudio.com/ThisModel.php3?ModelID=256 You could contact them and find out. Pretty pricey, though. John

Lines

Making a half-hull model shouldn't be too difficult if you have a set of lines drawings for the 27. Anyone got a set?

Cherubini models

My cousin Mike (Cherubinimodels.com) is currently working on a line of half-models (and some other products) of my dad's designs, including the 44, 48, Raider and some early one-offs. His primary focus is on RC-boat parts and sailing models of these and other boats, typically in 3/4":1' scale. I am trying to talk him into a consistent 1":1' scale (for which my kids can provide dolls!) and he and I would like for him to introduce a few of my dad's rarities soon (like the 33' double-chine ULDB 'River Rat' which would make a great RC model!). The problem for Mr Ryan is that I do not currently have the rights to offer any reproductions of my father's Hunter work. But try EMailing Mike with your interest-- he is raring to go and will produce a product a lot faster than I can talk about it. I will warn you that most of his work is VERY high-calibre and customers gladly pay for it. I hope this does not constitute advertising, but MIke is a really good asset and I don't make anything from his work... so far. [wink] J Cherubini II Cherubini Art & Nautical Design Org.
