hull delamination

I'm purchasing Albin Vega # 169 built in 1969

have any of you heard of problems with hull delamination in the
ballast area, was the cast iron coated with any epoxy or anything
else at the factory???

thanks for your help, it is a beautiful boat fully equipped...

Hi;
I own hull # 257 since late 1960ties, I never had any problem with the hull. Wouldn't change to another boat.
