Top Secret one part epoxy
TS-100 1-Part Epoxy Paint Revolutionary Marine Topcoating SystemA blend of four high-tech resins, originally developed to meet demanding military specifications for jet aircraft, TS-100 One-Part Epoxy is remarkable because it is catalyzed by oxygen from the air rather than a hardener. This means an epoxy paint with no measuring or mixing, no short pot life, no dangerous isocyanate, and colors that stay bright without yellowing or chalking. Like regular epoxy, it has the highest ratings for adhesion, hardness and chemical resistance. However, unlike regular epoxies, Top Secret's unique blend of epoxy, silicone alkyd and urethane resins, is formulated to bring out the most desireable qualities of each: epoxy provides superior adhesion, silicone resins are resistant to high temperatures, alkyds add superior flow characteristics, and urethanes create that phenomenal glossy surface which is also hard, durable, and resistant to typical marine maintenance and fuel chemicals. Although hard enough to easily resist physical damage, the resulting coating is also remarkably flexible and UV stable, making it colorfast and resistant to chalking, cracking or peeling. This is one tough coating; it looks great and will outlast anything currently on the market. Since it typically provides full coverage and protection with just a single 1 mil coat, it regularly provides 3 times greater coverage per gallon than other epoxies, making it economical to use.Features:# Extraordinary self-leveling properties# Creates a waterproof film that remains both hard and flexible at the same time# Adheres to almost anything and dries to an exceptionally high gloss finish --- never wax your boat again# Inhibits rust, waterproofs, and is resistant to chemicals, spilled fuel and acids, even brake fluid# Easy to repair# For above waterline use# Can be brushed (bristle brush recommended to avoid bubbles), rolled or sprayed; no sanding between coats; easy clean-up# Available in 5 gallon sizes, please call# Theoretical coverage: 700 - 800 ft²⁄gal @ 1 mil (dry); typically covers in one coat
