we will lose our privicy if we back in. I did consider it.My Hunter 376 has a terribly hull slapping problem to the extent we have trouble sleeping even in our slip. Is there an awnswer?
Have tried the pool floats across the stern and found them not to be very effective. I tried tying the dinghy atwartship as well. That helped a little but not much. I have looked at the slap stopper but it seems to be a big pain to deal with so I cannot say yay or nay on it. If it is to bad I end up going to the forward cabin.Damar18,
I have the Hunter 380 and the previous owner bought a device called a slap stopper., it ties across the stern and breaks up the waves. I think others have used simple pool floats strung across the stern

I like the sound of waves slapping. I find it restful and soothing. Learn to like it.My Hunter 376 has a terribly hull slapping problem to the extent we have trouble sleeping even in our slip. Is there an awnswer?
Of course, but only when you're in the cockpit ! Not so much when you're down below, and not at all when you're in the stern cabin.we will lose our privicy if we back in. I did consider it.
