We happened to drive over the Tappan Zee bridge yesterday and my wife was pondering the possibility of moving our boat to this location. Anybody out there that knows the availability of slips, prevailing current and wind conditions, pros and cons? Our boat is a shoal draft. We noticed a large mooring field just north of the bridge on the west side. The Hudson is very scenic and wide in this location, and less than an hour from home, so we were thinking about the possibility.
