Fabio, My wife and I have an HR 41 for several years. Absolutely love her. We have found that close maneuvering (original L/H prop and Volvo MD21) is best done by keeping the engine at 1000 RPM constant with the boat coasting very slowly. The rudder is large enough to control with very little forward way. To turn, long or short, bump the transmission into gear with the rudder full...she'll turn a very tight circle. If you must pivot on the spot...she'll only do it to port, but can turn within her length by "bumping" the gear, with rudder full to port, from foward to reverse each time you sense way. The combination of rudder size and prop walk will turn her right around for a perfect back-in if you desire. We did practice our close maneuvers out in the bay after tossing a bouy over, then turning, backing, etc., around and next to the marker before bringing her into the slip unaided. We've done a lot of miles with her...hope you enjoy as much as us.Steve & Lynn
