It's finally heading away
and towards the west. I am on the left hand and back side of it right now an we are getting lighters winds about 25mph and gusts to 30. Some rain now and then. Just north of us in Jacksonville they are on the right hand side of the storm and getting higher winds and more rain. They just issued a tornado watch about 15 Min ago.
No boats lost at the marina as of this post, however the only boats with any dammage are the people that didn't come out to add more lines. One boat a O/I 41 lost the dinghy from the deck. It was hanging on by a cable hooked to the furler. He also had a spring line attached to the boarding ladder and that got ripped off along with the fender board, He has some rubrail dammage. We mannaged to get the dinghy back on board and lashed down. I hope it fills with water so it won't blow overboard again. His spring lines are chafed and I don't know how much longer they will hold. The boats locked up so could not get anymore lines. We'll keep an eye on her. We don't want it to come loose and blow down on others.
People like this guy really piss me off, along with people that use clothes line to tie off their boat.
