Anyone have a picture or diagram showing how to secure the centerboard uphaul on deck using the blocks?
I currently have it tied off to the jib cleat starboard, but the owner's manual shows a set of blocks running to the padeye near the jam cleats starboard, and I'd like the mechanical advantage, not to mention I have two halyards wanting to occupy the jib cleat....

The arrangement is a three part (three lines) gun tackle with a moving attached to the centerboard up haul line and the standing block fixed just forward of the the starboard line clutch. The tackle is rigged as follows: The centerboard line runs from the deck close to the mast to the outboard most sheave on the on deck turning block. After clearing the turning block the uphaul line is attached to an eye on the moving block of the gun tackle. That moving block has another eve opposite the eye to which the up haul line is attached. Attach the dead end of the gun tackle line to that opposite eye on the moving block. The reave the gun tackle line through the standing blosk just forward of the line clutch. After passing the gun tackle line through the standing block, run the gun tackle line forward through the moving block. Then run the gun tackle line back through the outboard most opening on the line clutch and you're done. If you google gun tackle you'll see a diagram and realize this is not difficult.

The original 23.5 did not come with a rope clutch which others have referred to plus the first few did not even have cleats which to tie that to but later changed. take a photo and post here but when you do, send me a private email so I can look.

I may not be quick to respond as during the summer, I am involved with boats for the boy scouts.
