Does anyone have a step by step process to tune the hunter 260 rig for max speed. I read a recent post that had a process but the instructions were vague on the wire tensions. Is this a question for "Crazy Dave". Thanks for your help.

I was looking for this today and found it in the forum archives. In case the link doesn't work, look in the archives under H26, search term "Rig Tuning" and year "2002" This write up is for an H26, but I think that the process is pretty much the same for the 260 (of course, if I'm off base, I'm sure someone will let me know.

Dave, Thanks. I have a H23 but I believe that this is applicable to it also. To be honest, what I found most impressive is that Ray was doing this after just 2 years of sailing, which is way ahead of where I was with that low an experience level. Well done, both Ray and Dave.

It's the reason I hang out here...
I am always amazed at how incredibly smart the people on this board are. I have had my H26 for less than a year now, but the things I've learned from reading posts here have been incredible. Just another thanks to the regular posters and the idea-folks -- you're making it a lot easier for the rest of us! Then again, I have a lot of projects I didn't plan on - tiller-motor link, low-power fans, a serious look at the wiring, adding a battery, adding a bimini, redoing the 'icebox', fine tuning the rig, redoing the galley storage areas...
