Speaking as the site admin

...one way _not_ to sell it is to slip an ad into the forums here. :) You might consider placing a classified ad on this site (they work for many) or any of the other numerous online sources. A boat of that size can also sell through local sailing rags or even the newspaper. If you're trading up, a 25 is also a pretty easy boat to trade in, given its modest value. Good luck!

on line options

Go to excite and look up their "classified 2000" you can place an add there with a picture for free. also Boat trader on line will post adds for free but charge for pictures. You might also try taking a nice picture and tape it to a thorough description of the boat, then go to Staples and have several copies made. Pin these up in all the local marinas.

H25 Sale

Like anything else, priced to sell is important. H25s of that vintage go approximately $5000, plus and minus depending on condition of boat. It's a great ship and anyone new to sailing would be silly not to grab it. You'll probably have the most luck trying to pitch it locally. Late winter and early spring are good times since new sailors get the bug. Might offer opportunities to help new purchaser with a couple of sailing lessons, rigging info, etc. Your offer to provide some good customer service is one of the best drawing cards. I'd imagine that you should be able to sell this boat quickly.
