My bow running light wiring is corroded and needs to be replaced.

I tried to tie a message line to one end and pull through but it's caught on something...couple 90 degree bends probably.

This is going to be a tricky one! How did the factory install this thing!

The factory probably ran a metal snake through the pulpit from the top "exit" hole and then pulled the wiring through so it came out the bottom opening of the tube before mounting the pulpit.

With the pulpit off the boat that would be a lot easier than the other direction and trying to fish out the snake or wires from the little exit hole behind the bow light.

if you cannot pull after trying some lubricant, try the following.

take off the pulpit, use a metal light fixture chain the length of the wire you need. then rotate the pulpit like a puzzle. the chain will bend around any corner. when it is at the exit hole make a hook out of small piece of wire and pull it out.

seperate the pair of new wires, tape one wire to the chain (6 to 12 inches) lubricate the wire with wire lube or ky and pull slowly.

both great ideas. I think im gonna have to take the dang thing of. Lube would probably only work if it was upside down.

Thanks!
