I recently bought a Hunter22 that had been sitting for a while. All running rigging has been pulled out (by marina urchins I'm sure). I think most lines are still here, just in a pile. I have the owner's manual but interestingly enough, no rigging explanation. This info., I'm sure, is on this site but I haven't found it yet. The mast is off the boat and I can tell the halyards run inside, just want it to be rigged as intended. Thank you for any help.

We had a 22 a number of years ago but I do not remember off the top of my head which lines led where. As I recall, there were only 2 in the mast; the main and jib halyards. Have you tied looking at the pictures posted for the boat model?

Maybe a current 22 owner can help.

I will try to help here. Ours was a 1982 H-22. Running rigging in the mast naturally led to the bottom starboard side of the mast coming out of the sheaves, the aft line (main halyard) going through a bedded turning block to a red (inboard) stopper, and the forward halyard going through the bedded turning block to a green (outboard) stopper. (Stoppers being the red and green levered clamping devices located on the starboard cabin top). We had a rudimentary foresail roller furler (can't remember the name) but it ran the jib sheets to blocks mounted on the toe rails and then to turning blocks aft of each winch (port and starboard) on the cockpit coaming. I hope this helps.
