My boat is in dry dock being painted and I noticed that the propeller strut is a little loose and needs to be tightened. After investigating.... many hours of grinding fiberglass behind the engine compartment we found a brass plate with one threaded rod and a nut in the plate. Help!!! What are we looking for? It is very difficult to look for something that you have no idea what it looks like. How is the strut attached to the boat and what shape is it???? Very frustrated last couple of days.... Help!
