After several years of good results from Poli-Glo, I decided last year to try the Island Girl system thinking it might even be better. Boy was I wrong! I want to go back to Poli-Glo in the Spring, but want to give the hull a coat or two of polyurethane before "sealing" it with Poli-Glo.The question is, how do I effectively remove all of the Island Girl stuff? I used the whole IG system including: PINK, to clean and prep; SEA GLOW, to retore the finish; SIMPLY BRILLIANT SUPER WAX, to protect it; and MIRROR HARD SUPER GLAZE for added protection. The IG site states:"For complete removal of the SBSuperwax™ and MH Superglaze™ coatings (for instance prior to painting or lettering) use a commercial “grease & wax remover” that contains xylol or toluene. It can be obtained from an auto paint store." What about any traces of the Sea Glow?Has anyone else run into this? And if so, what do you recomend to completely strip the hull of this stuff?I think I remember reading that using PINK straight will do it, but it's so damn expensive! Thanks
