hunter 466 marina del rey
I have a 2004 Hunter 466. One of my forward hatches (20x20) broke; i bought a replacement unit. I took out all the screws on the frame. NOW WHAT??? it appears to have been glued in... i can't get under the exterior lip; i can't budge the internal frame.... how do i get this out? my fear is that it is sealed in with something like 5200. HELP.

Get some debond and thin putty knives. Work a knife in the gap spray debond & repeat. Some build a puller but I've found easy is best for me

Not sure as I only sold one as a dealer but retired for a while. Can you take a photo and post.
If it is lexan sealed with Dow I think 765 (ok folks if wrong, let me know), then if you can pry a little up in a corner, insert fishing line and pull while pulling in and out as it would be working like a saw. Great little trick to know to cut the sealant between the window and frame.
Can you post a photo as I am not sure what it looks like now. Thanks

Thank you one and all. So here is my experience to share. 1. DEBOND. 2. Multi tool with flat putty like blade. 3. Patience (not my strong suit). 4. The can says wait five minutes. If you wait a bit longer it seems to work better

That is a Lewmar Ocean hatch. Why did you go to the effort of removing and replacing the entire hatch? Asking because...Virtually all parts of the hatch can be repaired without removing the entire hatch? Looks like it just needed a new locking handle.
