removing hatch

I have a 2004 Hunter 466. One of my forward hatches (20x20) broke; i bought a replacement unit. I took out all the screws on the frame. NOW WHAT??? it appears to have been glued in... i can't get under the exterior lip; i can't budge the internal frame.... how do i get this out? my fear...
