How to remove H 340 ruddder bearings ?

Has anyone replaced the plastic rudder bearings on the Hunter 340? What is the most practical way to cut them out? How do you glass the new ones in?

Check the archive for description of West System for repair of bearings. Can be done for < $100 and probably a lot less work than cutting out bearings.
