Great idea.separate dorm fridge
I can't understand that. Maybe marriage counseling will help.Great idea.
The Admiral gets upset when I store aging steelhead roe or partial tubes of goo in the fridge next to the milk.
I bought some of these roll-on tube caps on Amazon last year. I just used the first one, so I can't say how they work. But it looks promising.
They fit very tightly.

thanks!Yes, a fridge helps, a lot. A fridge is both cold (slows reaction) and very dry (water is the curing agent in Sika). Wrap/seal the tip with aluminum foil. You should be able to get at least a year, and generally several.
It will be hard to pump cold. A high ratio gun is the solution. Much better anyway.
I have a separate dorm fridge just for glues and sealants.
Could have been a very exciting trade show booth……..I bought some of these roll-on tube caps on Amazon last year. I just used the first one, so I can't say how they work. But it looks promising.

That, I will be purchasing immediately, if not sooner.I bought some of these roll-on tube caps on Amazon last year. I just used the first one, so I can't say how they work. But it looks promising.
The problem with polymer seals (including duct tape) is that polymers are gas-permeable, even more so when stretched. Note the helium leaks out of rubber balloons but NOT aluminum-coated mylar balloons. This is why aluminum foil is preferred.I bought some of these roll-on tube caps on Amazon last year.
