Howdy all: I have a Catalina 310 and just got a swell net hammock for it. I'm wondering what the best way to hang it is, e.g., from the spinnaker halyard and mast? Any suggestions, tips, etc. are greatly appreciated!
I hang mine on the mast & run the other up the forestay with a Halyard. Adjust the halyard to get the proper height. Wish I were there getting some R&R now!
I have roller furling also. I use a loop of soft webbing to wrap the furled sail. you just need to adjust the height with the hammock empty so the webbing can slide on your furled sail. It takes a couple adjustments, but is well worth it when you are relaxing. The lifelines are within easy reach so you can control your swing as well!
