Beneteau 31 Buffalo
Is there a product out there that covers and protects boat mattresses? In my case, I just bought a new Beneteau 31. While the cockpit cushions look spiffy, the fore and aft mattresses are just, well, naked mattresses. They're, of course, in dimensions that are non-standard to the outside world. Sure, I could measure the hell out of them and get something made up, but is there an off-the-shelf product that already does that?

Same situation on the 323, RP. I found a material I like and will make some covers. I already sewed up the one for the filler cusion in the vee. Concave and convex curves were tricky, but it is doable. Otherwise, over the winter take the cushions to a seamstress and have them made. Maybe some other 31 owners will follow your lead, so tell the seamstress if he/she makes a pattern, you should be able to drum up some additional business for her.

We bought King flat sheets and had custom fitted sheets made from them for our 361 by a local marine canvas/upholstery shop.

For the master cabin we bought a queen-size "piqué" (matress cover) and stretched it into place, then, we stretched a queen-sized jersey fitted sheet. The rest is straight forward.
For the forward cabin my wife made tight-fitting mattress covers and form fitted sheets... I'd say that she is an above-average seamstress.
