How to find a boat trailer for O'day 25

Oday 25 Washington, NC
Any ideas or suggestions on how I can find a trailer for an O'day 25, preferably in NC? She's stored one river down (on the Neuse River and I am on the Pamlico River) and it's a 2 day trip by sail, but a 35 mile drive by highway. Since winter is upon us, I'd rather trailer her and bring her up the highway. I've seen videos showing that it's an easily trailered boat, but I just can't figure out where to find a trailer (for rent, if possible). Thanks.

I would try Google. I found several custom trailer maker in my area.
I was quoted $4000(Can$) for my Oday 240.

Thanks - I've tried Google and not much luck. Craigslist, too. I don't want to buy one - just rent it. We have a slip already.

He would probably find an Oday 25 on a trailer for less than a new trailer would cost.

My winter storage fee at the marina is close to $1400 up here (long winter) I'm thinking of a used lowbed trailer and install my cradle on.

It's under $200 a month here, so I can keep it in the marina yard until it warms up. It's a two day trip with a stop over in Oriental, NC. Nice trip.

I take it you are buying this boat? And you need to move it to your marina? How did the PO get it there? There may be a lead there.
Find another owner of a 25 ft sailboat with the same draft. Ask to use his trailer to move your boat. I have moved others' boats on their trailers and others boats on my trailers for no fee, just gratuity. The next route would be to look in your marina for trailers that might work. Ask the owners to either move your boat for a generous "tip," or to borrow their trailer. Frankly, I won't let someone borrow my trailers, but I will move a boat for a friend. Time to find some friends!

How about having a flatbed / rollback tow truck. Have it lifted on, set on stands or blocks, strapped down... Then lifted off at the destination?

O day 25 Nyack. New York
Check with local used boat dealers. They almost always know use some guy who'll deliver or pick up a boat. Three years ago, I had my 25 moved from Maryland to New York (225 miles) for $600 and the guy was a real pro. He even arrived within 20 minutes of the estimated time enroute. He was based near the boat pick up point so there was no extra run to pick up the boat. I'm sure if you offer someone the option of picking up and delivering the boat every year they would cut you a great deal. Especially if the time schedule was flexible and there are bases near the pick up or delivery point. And you don't need anything like a flat bed. A pick up pulling a hydraulic trailer that can handle a 5000 lb load would be enough.

Tank,
Sail the boat . . . that's what it's for! Your 25 probably has a minimal draft. And I just took a look at the area. It seems like a great trip with all sorts of inlets and coves to explore. Bring your sweetheart and a bottle of Merlot. I am totally not seeing a downside.
