I have seached the arhives and found only one suggestion of using Soft Scrub on the cockpit cushions. Does anyone have any other suggestions? These are the white (well, one time anyway) mesh covered cushions that were supplied in 1997 by Hunter. Mine are rather dingy. I've tried Spray Away with a pressure washer and that helps but they still have a gray overcast to them. I can try SoftScrub, but I think it will be hard to rinse out all of the cleaner from the mesh. I'm thinking that a different cleaner that is a clearer liquid rather than a creamy product like Soft Scrub would be easier to rinse. Any suggestions?

Bleach??

Know it's both obvious and probably a cleaner which will supposedly, over time, degrade the material but we had those type cushions for 7 years on our old boat. The experts all said don't use it but I got so tired at looking at them, I did so regardless and they came out great - and didn't deteriorate in all that time. Don Illusion H40.5

Chlorine and Champagne

Chill champagne. Put cushions in hot tub with a little extra chlorine in the water. Invite the ladies to come over and sit on the cushions in the hot tub, serve champagne. If it works, you tell everyone it was my idea. If it works and you get lucky, owe me big time. If it doesn't work, you don't know me. Good Luck

OXY CLEAN

I tried everything and what works for me inside and outside of the boat is oxy clean, when you use this make sure you use HOT, HOT water to mix up the powder. It also works great on your carpets at home if you have animals. You can use this stuff on anything and I promise you IT WORKS....plus it is cheap at Wal-mart. Katie

Thanks, Katie, I'll give it a try since I don't...

have a hot tub, champagne is expensive, and my wife probably wouldn't approve of the 'ladies'. Otherwise, Andy's idea was on the short list.
