How do you clean and protect the wood steps (teak I guess) that go into the cabin? My boat is a 2004 H33 - and assume that Hunter uses the same stuff in most of their recent models. I am not sure what the finish is, other than just sanded smooth teak? I ask the question because I am noticing that they are getting a dirty look - so it is time to do something. Thanks Michael

Standard

cleaning technique, Teak cleaner, medium size brush and toothbrush for the groves Teak brightner then Teak oil just make sure the oil has soaked in before you use them again. Works each time (about once a year)

Then...

...when you're done with that put a little rubber backed mat on it and it will not need cleaning again. Just take up the mat and shake it out.

Re: clean/maintain steps

Thanks for the input. I guess the dumb question is the one you don't ask - especially when the answer is so obvious... Michael
