How to Avoid Being Lunch

Or dinner or breakfast or just a late afternoon snack.
So, you're out there having a nice sail and you find yourself in the ocean having a swim. Maybe you weren't paying attention and the boat jibed or the water just looked SO refreshing on a hot afternoon. You don't want the local sharks thinking the fast food restaurants are now delivering their Super-Size Fries as your legs waggle about below the surface? That's why you need to get the Alude, oh no, I'm sorry, the Elude wetsuit. That way, those voracious sentinels of the sea won't even see you.

Scientifically designed in cooperation with the University of Western Australia. If that doesn't reassure you, they have also taken another tack with the Divert suit, intended to make you look unpalatable, like a poison sea snake or tigerfish.
Sharks may be color blind, but are they that easy to confuse a human diver for a lionfish?
Here is the National Geographic article

My thought, since sharks are strict carnivores, at least the ones we are all concerned about, maybe a suit that looks something more like this?

Maybe it would even protect you against GIANT SQUID:yikes:

Happy sailing, all.

A good friend, though a surfer, is not comfortable IN the ocean. He feels he is stepping way down the food chain when he gets in the sea. Pretty funny thought. lol

I went on a party boat snorkel trip on the island of Providentiales. They explained to us that we should stay on the reef side of the mooring field because there, we were the largest predator in the water. If we venture out the other side, we would be the smallest one. I don't think anyone in our group was incline to leave the reef.
