How to attach handrails to C 22 ?

Decided to add teak handrails to my C 22. They came today with no instructions or hardware or holes drilled. Catalina Direct said they could be screwed from the inside or bolted thru. Any ideas on the best way ? Any hints on keeping it watertight? Thanks, Bob in rainy CT

installation

Use ss screws and washers and 3M 4200 (not 5200) sealant from West Marine. Determine proper screw spacing from the handrails and drill the holes in the fiberglass. Then align the handrails, and mark and drill the holes in them. Apply the 4200 to both sides of the fiberglass hole and screw the handrails in. If the fiberglass is cored, purists will drill the holes slightly oversized, fill with epoxy, cure and re-drill to proper size to seal off the core. Good luck, and the sun may be back this weekend!
