Helping a friend with a new to him X-Yacht and trying to put the new radar and helm electronic on separate circuits. How do I relate the power panel switches to the distribution panel? I attached a picture of the distribution panel and a video where the do a short intro, but don't answer all my questions.

1. How do I figure out switch xyz on the front panel is slot ZZZ on the panel in back?
2. Do the wires just push in to make the connection?

The design looks interesting, it. It more fancier than I am used to.

For “1” time to break out the digital volt meter or you can use a “fox and hounds” wire trace tool.

For “2” there are two types of Euro connections. One is a push wire in or there are screws you release, push the wire in the hole, then tighten the screw. I would hope fire the second. Wire diagram should distinguish between positive vs negative. It is a Euro boat so best to verify which is which with a DVM.

Looks like a slick system with the wire channel and all.

You stick a small screwdriver in the square hole beneath each wire and slightly lever the tip up to remove the wire. Just push the wire in to insert it.
