With small grandchildren, I feel I need to add additional life lines in the cockpit area. Any "to-dos"..."don't dos"?

lifelines

Most people add netting to the existing lifelines when small children or pets are a concern, in re your post about the ballast at one time I received literature from Mac gregor, which led me to believe that at some certain speed while motoring it was possible to drain their ballast tanks while under way ,, good luck Mike B

Just use netting

Try getting away with a good quality netting, as it is cheaper and easier to install and probably just as safe for your g-children. PS TEACH THEM TO SWIM AND MAKE THEM WEAR SOME TYPE OF LIFE JACKET (EVEN IN THE COCKPIT)!

netting

I installed netting in the cockpit only because I have two small children and it seems to work great. I also give them the option of being on a harness or in a lifejacket when topside. Dave Oberholtzer Hydrotherapy
