I find it very hard to read the transmission dip stick and actually think that mine is overfilled. Are there any harmful effects of having too much transmission fluid?
My 2001 C36 MkII came overfull. My guess was that it was filled when level. Since it was that way from the factory I left it that way and have had no problems in three seasons.

Here's an idea *! Pull the dip stick then lay it on a paper towel or such. You'll be able be able to see the fluid level exactly by where it wicks on the paper.Ron
