How much should I pay ???

i am looking @ buying a 2002 23 Hunter with a trailer and a small honda out board... what should i know... and pay??? it has been sitting with out being used in a parking lot for the last year and it had only been sailed for 3 weeks the year beforepeace to all from fargoJacobi

I'm guessing you will get a number of answers depending upon how the boat is outfitted. You can get a general idea from the boats for sale listed at this site or any number of other sites on the web. That's how I went about evaluating price on my 1993 when we were deciding. I had not sailed before and it was merely dumb luck that I purchased a boat that was well outfitted as I didn't know the difference at that time. Good luck.

Go to the "boats for sail" area of this website and pick out the boat size you want. The H23 listing shows a range from $4400 to $7800. The difference is the age, added gear, and probably mostly the situation the seller is in. I have a 23 and I think it is a pretty rugged boat. I would be surprized if any of them have significant structural problems. The last year for a 23 was 1992. You must mean a 23.5 . The prices on this website for the 23.5 range from $8500 to $12900. I don't know much about the 23.5. Good luck and good sailing.
