I just bought a set of boat number plates for my Achilles dinghy. They are 3.5" x 18" and I have two of them.
I have 5 ounces of two-part Hypalon glue on-hand and I am wondering if that will be enough. If not, I want to get more before I start the glue job, but I don't use the glue very much, and supposedly it has a shelf life so I don't want to buy if I don't need it. Each plate requires two thin coats of glue to both the plate and the dinghy area. So I need enough glue for a total of eight thin coats for both plates.
Has anyone glued these boards on their dinghy and know how much glue it really takes?
