How many C-30's were built with tiller helms, 1982-85? Couldn't get an answer from from Catalina! If you know of one for sale in Southern California, please let me know. Thanks.

What the heck do you want a tiller for?

do you really think they are more responsive? The bare big and get in the way. Do you have an auto tiller you want to keep.

Why a tiller

1. More responsive than a wheel. 2. Less likely to malfunction. 3. More room in the cockpit. 4. With a wheel I have to stand and steer, with a tiller I can sit and steer. 5. Etc....

Goin' for a wheel

Came to the conclusion that a wheel C-30 is preferable to a tiller C-30 which apparently are as rare as proverbial hens teeth. But the purchase of a 30 is gonna have to be "down the road", probably next year around this time. Necessary expenses take top priority.
