How many fuel filters are there?

I have had to change the two fuel filters on y Westerbeke 10Two three times this season? Keeps loosing power and dies at idle? I've changed the two fuel filters and the smaller one Part No. 30200 three times! Any other suggestions?

Clean

the fuel tank. It is very possible that the tank has a heavy growth of algea or "grud" at the bottom of the tank. This grud may be picked up by the fuel pump and the filters, which are doing there job, are filtering it stuff out.My mechanic recommended to clean my tank early this season when the WtwoC was hard starting. The tank is original to my 272 at 18 years. I will be cleaning it this fall.As a temp measure, I drained all my fuel and replaced it with fresh fuel and a stabilizer.Fair Winds.

don't know about your area, but here there is a tank cleaning dockside service that cleans tank and filters fuel in single process and produces a clean tank and fuel, without removing tank or fuel. you may have the same service available in your area.
