How is the deck saloon window awning attached

I have to remove the front three windows on my Hunter 44DS AND TO MAKE THE JOB EASIER IT WOULD BE GOOD TO REMOVE THE AWNING THAT IS ABOVE THE WINDOWS. Does anyone know how this is fixed from the Manufacturer. I can see the screws around the edge of it but is there more to it than that
