It is sad to see someone that has invested so much time and energy in bringing an older boat back have to give her up. I hope he finds a way to keep her.

I'm still here and still have her. Baggett & Sons looks to be finally taking off as I'm going down to Oregon this weekend to inspect a K-40 we'll be doing a complete restoration on starting early in July. There's also a CS36T that may be coming in for a keel rebed and other work. So, for the moment, Oh Joy is on the hard, tarped, dry and waiting for us to get some time to continue. Partially due to the help of some fine members of SA who helped us through this tough patch. Thanks for the well wishes...
Glad to hear that Charlie is getting work. That is really good to hear. I hope that you can get Oh Joy back into the water soon.
Glad to hear from you as well. Send us some docs of the other restoration even if it isn't you own. Always a pleasure to see someone else working hard, as long as it isn't me. Your post are always interesting and informative. I sometimes need that inspiration when looking at my own, sometimes overwhelming, project.
As I get the boats in, I'll start threads on them. That way some knowledge is paid forward to someone who may need it.
Yeah this K-40 I'm going to inspect this weekend is coming for a complete restoration and then some. We have to treat her right as she's hull number one and hasn't been seen for over 18 years...
