How good are Doyle sails bought through Sailboatowners.com

I'm in the market for a new mainsail for my Pearson 10M (33 footer) and find that I can buy a Doyle sail on this site for a price about $1000 less than my quote from North. How good are the Doyle sails? I'd love to hear from people who have bought them at Sailboatowners.com.

When you by any sail by mail order the onus falls on you to be sure are the small issues are correct

Despite the 10M being a fairly common boat it does not insure there are all the same as factory

Nothing on my 1970 Cal 29 such as the sail track / furling gear ect is the same as orginal

The sails here do not come off a shelf; they are made for the specific setup on your boat, not for a factory standard (as if there is such a thing, anyway).

There's a simple worksheet that tells us everything we need to know to make you a custom sail. We've sold hundreds of them since 1998 and we've got the system pretty well worked out.

Doyle has a good reputation. I would not hesitate to go with them.

Just ordered a new main from here and am very happy with it. I even cooked a measurement, and they caught the error giving me the chance to re-measure. Went with full battened main and it had made a definite difference in the performance of our boat. Their customer service is great, and the local Doyle loft said they will take on any warranty or maintenance for us. I am going to order a new jib from them next year.

my doyle sail are about 5 or six year old ,they are all still like new , very thick and solid, i love my doyle sail, go ahead!

I got new Doyle sails about three years ago. There was a serious disconnect somewhere in the measurement interpretation (they read my measurement wrong for the main and made an assumption on the jib) but Doyle made good in an efficient manner and their sails are of very good quality. Been very happy with them.
