YVRguy .. my flares and stuff are in a dedicated slider compartment just forward on the port side.. The sundowner locker has a great Port (for sipping with an occasional cigar) some fine tequila, some outstanding sour mash whisky, and some Sailor Jerry ..

Ahh you bring up an excellent related subject: The onboard bar. Out of self preservation I often keep a minimal stock but at best I would include the following:
- Tanqueray 10 gin (mostly when the admiral's aboard)
- Glen Livet 18 scotch (a ship's staple)
- Mount Gay XO rum (for sipping and occasional rum and coke)
- Goslings rum (mixed with ginger beer and lime for the official boat drink)

Interesting to note the regional differences. I wouldn't be surprised if you carry some fresh mint for that bourbon :)

Waffle Iron

Waffles with fresh fruit and whip cream, in the middle of the week, wondering what all the poor bastards headed for work are eating.

Mp3 player (big bands and Frank) input to the stereo, glass cocktail glassware, iced champagne bucket and steaks on the grill.
This year adding a boom tent for shade. If I can give up the space I may add AC.

I had a portable XM satellite radio kicking around so I've taken it down to the boat and plugged it into my stereo. I can be miles out of cell service and away from AM/FM signals and still get a ton of great music and news content. My favourite is listening to NPR on those long days of motoring with no wind.

Catalina 250 Bodega Bay CA
Even on a Catalina 250 we have a refer with small freezer. A blender for ice for margaritas! Queen berth, elect. coffee pot, microwave, etc. Some of course are only used while in the marina. Chief
