Just stored my 89 Hunter 23 in Reno for the winter after a nice summer on Lake Tahoe CA. Noticed that the stainless cable had fatigued and fractured multiple strands of the standing rigging where it passes through the spreaders. It will obviously need to be replaced. However, it was not clear to me as to how one removes the upper part of the cable where it enters the mast. The upper part of the cable ends in a round edged "T" like peice of stainless. It did not slip out of the oval slot in the mast when rotated 90 degrees. There appears to be a hardened metal sleeave which sits inside the mast and is rivited into position. Despite trying to remove the terminal "T" of the cable in various positions I was unable to remove it.Does the sleeve need to be unriveted and removed and then replaced when removing the standing rigging attachment at the upper mast? When the rigger replaces the cable does he reuse the terminal "T" device, or is thisa standard item which they cam easily reorderThanksAlex1989 Hunter 23 Lake Tahoe
