How does it come apart

How does the WC waste deck fill come apart on my 1980 H37C? It appears that the plastic part below the deck may screw into the flang part on deck. I put a wrench on the plastic part below deck that is shaped like a nut and could not turn it? It is not a nut but part of the solid plastic barb under the deck. Is it possible to break it apart from above?

Simply remove the hove and unscrew the 3 top screw, should come out fairly easy if not glued in 3M 5200...

When I painted new non-skid I had to lift mine. I just removed the three screws and pried it up. Just a half-inch or so, enough room to paint under it. Then I resealed and screwed it down. I think the only other think holding it down is the hose. That is why I suggested removing if first from the tank(other post).

there were plastic hose barbs screwed into some of the deck fills.
