jib hal. to top, bottom to where your jib attaches and sheet at end left and run aft to a proper location for your boat. attach spinn pole to point where spinn sheet attaches and other end to mast, usually on a sliding tract mounted on the mast, unless you have a 'class' boat that has specific points required for pole attachment, pole out, if necessary.
