We have been trying to get our antenna cable inside the mast of out Hunter 26 with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas?

Runnig rf Cable

Remove the top of the mast ( the casting that holds the sheave) mine was riveted on. I drilled out the rivets and tapped the holes for machine screws. Drill your entrance and exit holes being careful not to drill the wiring thats already there, run a wire snake down from the top through the gutter and pull the rf cable back. It is important to put the cable in the gutter to prevent wire slap. I used strain relief grommets where the cable entered and exited the mast,

Fishtape

I used an electrician's "fishtape"...the stiff wire electricians use to pull cable through walls. I ran it from the top of the mast to the bottom, then taped the coax to the fishtape, and pulled it to the top. You can probably find a fishtape at a tool rental outlet. Dale Wile Sandpoint, Idaho

Leave pullwire when finished

You may consider pulling a small line in with the coax, and leave that in place. It will make the next pull much easier.
