How do you clean your microfibre cloths after their use for waxing or polishing your hull? I have tried several different products and procedures with limited success. Your advice please. Thanks Tony.

They are a bit problematic to clean. The best I can do is say wash only with other microfiber cloths, and air dry. I feel like by the nature of MF cloth, they hold grit sometimes.

I don't even bother, and not sure they can be made clean again without ruining their properties. They are so inexpensive, and sold in large packages, that I just buy new ones. Box stores like Harbor Freight, Walmart, etc sell them in packs for <$1 per cloth.

I'll go through a dozen towels waxing my classic car for a show, so I go through a lot of them. If you buy new I recommend the gray ones from Amazon. eight bucks for a dozen. the Harbor freight ones are not paint friendly at all. having said that I do wash a lot of mine also. put a couple gallons of hot tap water in a five gallon bucket with a couple tablespoons of Dawn dish washing detergent. it cuts wax much better than any laundry soap ever could. toss in a dozen towels and "kneed" well for a couple minutes. wring out each towel, dump the dirty water and refill the bucket with clean hot rinse water and do the same. after that you can run them through the wash machine and drier as you would any laundry.
Unless you like sleeping on the couch don't put wax towels directly in the laundry as they won't get clean and the wash machine will get a nasty coat of dirt and wax inside....... but I'm guessing you've already discovered that by now ;).

For my polishing pads and wool buffer covers, I use Lake Country Pad Cleaner. Works great for dissolving the wax, compounds, etc from the pads. Swear by it. Have not tried it on the MF towels but I bet that it would do the job. Available from www.Autogeek.net. I use about a tablespoon full in a few gallons of water and change the water as it gets cruddy.

Thank you all for your inputs. I will try some your remedies and see what works best. If all else fails then the MF would would serve as general clean up before they have outlived their usefulness. I agree they are cheap enough to be disposable without a real hit to the boat budget considering what it costs for the compound, polishing and waxing materials. Again thank you all for the advice it's much appreciated.
