Hey little help please... I'm a little embarrassed to say that I've had my boat for a year now and don't know how to turn on the shower in the head or on the transom. I normally use the showers at the marina so I don't have all the soap scum going into the bilge. I was cleaning up the boat and thought I'd fill a bucket, but could not figure out how to get the water diverted to the shower head, in the head. I pulled, twisted, turned, and tried all combinations before I gave up and tried the transom shower where I had the same result, no water. I checked the manual for the plumbing diagram, page 21 in the TOC, which unfortunatly was not in the book... Don't know why it was not put in the manual. Guess they wanted to see how long it would take to get me to ask the question, "How does this work?" The water pump was on for all the evolutions. I was able to get water out of the head faucet, just couldn't divert it, But I was not able to get any water out of the transom shower at all. TIA, Mac, S/V Patience

Pull up

Mac, As for the head, try pulling up on the circular cone where the shower tube attaches to the sink. That will divert the water from the sink to the shower (the water must be running to keep the diverter on). As for the cockpit, it should work just by turning the the knobs. You might be lloking for a kink in the line where it pushes back inot the boat for storage. That has happened to me, and it blocks the water flow. Good luck, Steve

Water

You might also want to check and see if the valves serving those units are on. There is probably a distribution point where the water pipes extend out to each fixture. It is located under the galley sink in our 356. I seem to recall that each line had a small on/of valve as it came out of the distribution header. Maybe you have a few that are still off. Can't get a grip...

I thought that black ring around the base of the black riser might do the trick, however when I ran the water into the sink through the spigot, the black riser leaks a little, then its wet and hard to grip that ring. I couldn't budge it with my fingers either pulling or twisting it and I did not want to use pliers to grab it because it's not constructed very well, I didn't want to break it trying to figure out how it works. I will try pulling it up next time I'm on the boat. Thanks!

Looking for a valve...

Thanks Dan, I'll look for a valve next time I'm on the boat. r/Mac
