I have a nice sellboat that I want to sail. Can anyone give me advice on sailing my sellboat? It has two sells; a discountsell and a forsell. Please, my sellboat wants to be sailed but I don't know how. Obvisously I am bored. ;)

BrainD, You can't sale a sell boat here but

they used to have buy boats that served the oyster fleet. Sailing a buy boat to a sell boat and transfering all those clams in rough sees was a serious bit of seamanship. ;)

Here is what you do

Quit your job, leave your wife and sell your house. Take the money from the house and use it to learn to sail!

What racial under/overtone?

I don't see anyone talking about racing the sellboat!

Oh... and this is not

a hit on Carl who is trying to sell his boat. I just chuckled with the play on words of sell and sail, and wanted to have a little fun.

Sailboat racing is no longer politically

correct. The loosers end up with low self esteem issues. From now on only the boat in front is racing the others are just cruising in the same direction.

If sailboat racing was like political racing...

Then the boat which have more sail area will have to give that sail area to the boats that do not have as much sail area. It is the only solution to the have's and have-not's. *666 This constitutes an official thread hijack.

So, Brian,

you're either advocating a one-design (class) society or a classless society? Where I come from those are called yacht clubs, and the only ones that would have me are classless, or at least have no class at all. A sell boat is probably a stinkpot anyway, because you can't sail it anywhere. A buy boat is perforce a sailboat... Oh, crap, enough already!

Randy , multiply the square root of the area of

the rudder times tha hypotnoose of the forward triangle and divide the result by the number of bottles of beer in the ice box multiplied by the total weight of the crew divided by the number of days in the passage. Now what is the name of the owner of your boat?

Brian if sailboat racing was like politcal racing,

the boat worth the most money would go fastest. Hmmm, guess it is.
