How do I reset an ST4000 Autopilot

I need to "reset" my Raymarine SP4000 Mk II Wheel Pilot so the unit will look for my newly installed rudder sensor. The rudder indication presently doesn't show up on Standby. Does anyone know how to do this. Raymarine has advised me "to change to pilot information to anything else but 4000, exit out and then go back in an change back to 4000." In the manual, the only way I see to do this is in dealer setup. Do I change the Pilot Type from 4000Wheel to 4000Tiller ... exit .. then ... reset to 4000wheel. There doesn't appear to be any other settingsI don't see anywhere else where I can change pilot info. If anyone knows how to do this ... let me know ... many thanks.*0

you got it right

Raymarine told me the same thing, change set up to tiller, exit, go back, do it again to wheel and bingo, it works.With the rudder sensor working you'll get much better performance after readjusting all the other stuff, gain, etc. etc.
