How do I edit my posts?

Has the edit feature in these forums been changed? Previously responses were open to edit or delete by writer for 24 hours.

It was OK.

I have not posted anything today(until now). But the past few days it seemed to be working. I will post this now and then update if EDIT is working. Yep, still working(one minute later).

the edits are done on the same computer the post was originally written on. I believe a cookie is placed on that PC. I wonder if the new XP update has your PC blocking cookies?

You have to be logged in to edit your post. If you don't have a login yet, click the Forums tab then click the link for Forum Settings. The good news is, once you're logged in, you can edit your posts from any computer. ph.

I did some housekeeping...

recently on my home computer. Perhaps that is the reason for the sudden change. I have been logged in properly since the format change a few months back, but a couple of days ago I deleted all the cookies from the IE folder. That must be it, since I didn't notice the change on the work(notebook) unit. By the way, I installed the new XP service pack on the notebook which I connect to our office T-1, but have decided not to upgrade the home computer since it's on an SBC dial-up...and apparently there is a conflict between SBC and the upgrade that requires a patch to fix it. Thanks for your suggestions.
