How did Santa do for ya'll

It's better to give than receive, so I am told. So we gave our son a beach cruiser, our daughter in law clothes, our grand daughter $100 toward an X-box, and the twin grandsons a trampoline. What did I get in return? A hat, like the one Gilligan wears. It is embroiderd with Polar Frank on it, (priceless). Bah humbug!
From the previous owner I got the cutest little sailboat christmas ornament! From the Admiral......well she went overboard with gifts and I don't mean that literally! Let me say this.... the boat has a lot more peripheal items for the next season.
A good Christmas for DreamChaser: New davits, new radar, new Blue Sea electrical panel, new self tailing winches...
Mine got a new Boomkicker and a inclinometer. I was getting a cdi furler but I am leaning towards making one and saving the money. It was a good christmas.
Santa was pretty nice too
Santa must have thought we were nice this year. He gave us a Magma Third Mate rail mount table with dual rail mounts. Now I have a place to set the tongs between flips of the burgers and the next round of them rather than on a napkin or plate on the sloping helm seat cushion.
Better yet, Santa found it on sale for 50% off at a relocating West Marine store in Biloxi, MS. As the Architect remodeling the shopping center where it is located and helping relocate the store to a new, larger space in the center, I had privey to the knowledge of this moving sale and relayed it to Santa.....

Handheld VHF, Bilge Pump, Portable Fish Finder (I think my father in law wants to go fishing), West Marine Gift Card. Not too shabby for the first Christmas with the boat.
I apparently have officially reached "geezerhood". I got shirts, a sweater and slippers. Nothing for DreamBoat.
Well, I did buy a new engine last month, so technically, Santa brought that, too.
I hope that for New Year's, I get to bring DreamBoat back home. She has been away since October 7.

Nothing really for the boat, but for me. Two expensive charms for my new Pandora charm bracelet. One is a gold anchor clasp and the other is a cute hanging sailboat. Makes me want to go sailing every time I wear it!
got a new friend from stone island fishing panga fleet as i was dragging anchor around old harbor for a bit---wind howled for a lil time-- so i am safe and have a new friend-- so i guess i am naughty and nice..LOL--took us about 4 hours to snug my formosa down in the wind.
Santa brought me Don Guillette's Sail Trim User Guide and Charts. Mrs Clause let me go out sailing on the 23rd and yesterday.
Santa came a bit early (mid Nov.)and brought our family a 1988 MacGregor 26D! Then in early Dec. a gps/fishfinder, a gently used set of sails.
My 4year old daughter gave me a rock form her collection! It's a nice one too!
I'm hoping that the easter bunny knows what a roller furler is...

I had a great Christmas!
For the boat I got:
A Coleman single burner stove that I am going to be fabricating to go into a small toolbox for a "galley"
A gift cert. for a custom logbook from some site online where I can have the boat's name and a photo put on the front of it.
A pole spear for when I head down to the Key's in a few months.
A sextant to learn how to navigate the old way.
A good bit of synthetic clothes that are great for wearing on the boat.
Several sailing books.

We received a 12v bug zapper, 12 volt fan, non breakable dishware, some sailing attire, new front hatch door, cdi furler, all new sheets, running and standing rigging, new lifelines (going to use 3/8" double braid nylon instead of wire rope). I am now in the process of installing everything. Oh almost forgot - a bag of 18v tools (drill, light, circular saw and saws all)
I got a lovely new porta potti! The old one looked to be about 35 years old and i didnt even want to look at it, nevermind use it!
