One device, with compass, GPS, and 3D sensors. WiFi too. Reaching with 8 knots just off the bow.
Speed is Raymarine paddlewheel
Heading is D10 compass
True wind is Raymarine apparent wind, calculated with BoatSpeed, but also mast heel and acceleration to nul out mast swing.
App on phone can control it via WiFi.

I can see the photo. It is cool! Nice big numbers. Gets your eyes out of the cockpit. Most the important numbers are there. I assume you can control the display info via the phone. But do you have to have an existing WiFi network on the boat?

It creates its own WiFi network, and can share with the companion app, other nav apps that can accept wireless NMEA data, or to a mode on the app that acts like a data repeater.

Very cool! But not $1,425 cool for this poor boy.
Agreed; they are not giving them away. But mast displays basically sell for $1000/line of data. Go price a B&G 20/20 display. And that's just the display. This is 3 lines, along with GPS and compass. Built in smarts, and WiFi. This is replacing 2-3x the cost in gear.

With some good binoculars others could read that display too. They'd have to be behind you though, so not as useful as it might seem.
